5,000 free books for Kindle users

Amazon Prime subscribers are now able to read 5,000 Kindle e-books for free due to the launch of a new service called Kindle Owners' Lending Library. XP declining quickly

A Web measurement company announced today that Windows XP’s decline has accelerated and lost the biggest part of its market share in October. Net Applications pointed out that the decrease of Windows XP usage was almost matched by the increase of Windows 7 operating systems installed. Duqu uses Microsoft to infect systems

Researchers finally found one of the ways the Duqu Trojan uses to infect computers. It uses a Word document that takes advantage of a formerly unknown Windows kernel bug. The installer file allows the code to be executed on the system it aims to infect. New update for Google TV

On Friday, Google announced that it was finally able to extend its "Honeycomb" update to Google TV devices. The update will be paired with several applications from the Android Market and will bring better interfaces. John McCarthy died at 84 years old
