Governor asks people to be careful after hurricane Irene

Gov. Bob McDonnell warned people earlier today that they should be careful while cleaning up after the hurricane Irene. “While the storm has passed, the danger has not,” he explained at a news briefing this afternoon. The Hurricane Irene hit the coast of New Jersey on Sunday morning and pushed forward to the New York City area. The East Coast threatened with evacuation

The Federal Emergency Management Agency had sent a message to all citizens living on the East Coast urging them not to try and play hero. Cruise ships floating in and around the Caribbean seas have been forced to reschedule their itineraries and keep an eye out for the weather in order to avoid crossing paths with the Hurricane Irene which was classified as a Category 3 storm in a matter of hours overnight.
