Gran Turismo 6 first week UK sales around five times less than GT5

Gran Turismo 6 is way off the pace of its predecessor, after debuting in the UK with close to five times less sales than Gran Turismo 5. Yes, the presence of two next-gen consoles is no doubt a factor - also GT5 came out on a Wednesday, and GT6 on Friday - but it's still a concerning performance by the PS3 racer, especially considering it had this week to itself, retail-wise. To add insult to injury, it placed eighth in the UK charts this week... [read news]
